This game works pretty well with wine-staging 1.7.55 and Open Source Drivers for my ATI HD 7970 (graphic card). It is strongly recommended to use a controller. Since I own a xbox360 controller that's the reason why I use Antimicro.
1. Installation (and workaround for .NET issue)
Steam will try to install .net framework each time you launch the game. There is a workaround for this issue
Open a linux terminal
Write a temporay registry file. Loading this temporary file in our registries DB will set all dependancies as installed (whereas it is a fake installation letting Steam believe that all dependancies have been installed). This way you won't meet issue for .NET)
Install both .NET 3.5SP1 and .NET 4 using winetricks silently (it should take a while!)
winetricks -q dotnet35sp1 dotnet40 vcrun2010
Install Steam
winetricks --no-isolate steam
Buy and play the game. First time you launch the game Steam will install UEngine 3. Its installation should be OK
2. Video (Youtube)
Woolfe The Red Hood Diaries | Wine-Staging 1.7.55 | RadeonSI | Antimicro
3. Antimicro
If you own a xbox360 controller as me then you can install antimicro
sudo apt-get install antimicro
Plug your xbox360 controler
Launch the game. Go to "Options" in-game. Using "ALT (Left)"+"TAB" then you should be able to switch between the game window and antimicro window. Doing that you should be able to adjust antimicro to your own needs. Adjusting your xbox 360 controller should be done only once
Each time you want to play this game don't forget to start antimicro first .

Below are the 3 games tested this week on Wine-Staging 1.7.55 patched with Gallium Nine
PCSX2 - Zombie Hunters 2 and SoulCalibur III
PCSX2 - God of War I and II
Steam - Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae
About Wine-Staging 1.7.55 and Gallium Nine
This is a particular version of wine for which I merged
Latest patches from Wine-Staging 1.7.55
Latest patches from Gallium-Nine
Two patches for Steam
Having a look in latest paches for Gallium-Nine I noticed that iXit Team took decision to implement "Staging" Tab (winecfg) as it is done through Wine-Staging.
Winecfg: Checkbox for Gallium-Nine added to "Staging" Tab by iXit Team
I took decision to merge both "Original Staging" Tab implemented by wine-staging team and "Staging Tab" for Gallium-Nine implemented by iXit Team. Here is the output
my New Winecfg: Checkbox for Gallium-Nine added to "Original Staging" Tab
I downloaded wine 1.7.55 sources
I applied all patches from Wine-Staging 1.7.55
I updated/applied all latest patches from Gallium-Nine. There was only a few minor updates to do manually. A couple of patches haven't been applied but I updated manually a few files :).
As of 08-Nov-2015, all native PCSX2 releases are built using Visual C++ 2015. For the past weeks there was an issue for vcrun015. This issue is now fixed for winetricks over 25-Nov-2015. You just need to be sure to have the latest version of winetricks from git
git clone https://github.com/Winetricks/winetricks.git
cd winetricks/src/winetricks
There might be issues if you install visual c++ 2015 through winetricks using the current version in git repo. There might be missing DLLs.Winetricks has to be patched. I filled a report on winetricks github site (https://github.com/Winetricks/winetricks/issues/575).
